A few years ago, I went to Quito, Ecuador for a week to take a Spanish class and live with a family. On our first day of class, the school took us on a tour of the city, and we had the chance to see the changing of the guard. It was a little more lively than the one in London, and one thing I enjoyed was watching all the horses go by. Just another reminder of how wonderful study abroad can be and how much you can learn about another culture by diving in a little deeper.

Great photo Ali. I like the way seem to this sight for granted by the way they seem to be ignoring it.

Thanks Steve! I guess since it happens every day, they’re used to it and it’s a normal thing for them.
I love attending changing of the guard ceremonies! It is always so interesting to see the different ceremonies and a girl can always dream that she’ll spot a real life prince!

Ha, a prince! Nice! I think I’ve only seen this one and the one in London.
