Weekly Photo(s) – Brussels Flower Carpet

I normally only post one photo for my Saturday weekly photo, but this weekend Andy and I are in Brussels, and this was too amazing to share in only one photo. Brussels displays this gorgeous flower carpet for just a few days once every two years. The flowers are grown in the Belgian city of Ghent in the largest indoor garden in the world.

This year’s theme was Africa. The Belgian Tourism Board brought us into the city hall to a private balcony in order to view the flower carpet from above. It was enormous! I tried, but I couldn’t get the whole thing in one photo. And since I really want to show you the flower carpet, I thought it only made sense to include a few photos this week instead of just one. Enjoy!
