This week’s photo is from Perugia, Italy. In April after our honeymoon to Turkey, Andy and I attended the Travel Bloggers Unite conference in the region of Umbria, Italy. One of the things we did was attend a photography workshop. After the classroom portion, we went into Perugia to wander around and take pictures for a couple hours. There were students on their Easter holiday touring the city, and locals shopping and walking their dogs. We were disappointed that was rainy and a bit cold that day, but I really enjoyed the pieces I saw of this city. But really, what’s not to like about Italy?

Neat photo of life in Perugia. I remember that day. The clouds did make photographing a bit hard, but some good shots and a nice walk.

Agreed. I could’ve done without the rain, but the clouds were cool.
I agree, there’s not an awful lot that you’re going to find to complain about in Italy (though I know some people still will), but it sounds like that is even more the case in Umbria! When Tony and I finally make it to Europe, I’d really like to spend a month or so in just Italy, and I’m hoping we can make it to Perugia. Your photo is gorgeous!

Thanks Steph! Italy is so beautiful! A month there sounds wonderful. It’s one of the few countries I could go back to a million times.
Italy is beautiful from top to bottom and coast to coast!

I haven’t seen nearly enough of the country, but I could easily go back over and over again. One of my favorite countries!
I miss Italy SO much!
Wonderful country! I’ve already been twice this year and I’d love to go back for more.
I loved Perugia, you never knew what you find waiting around the next corner – even if the weather didn’t exactly cooperate.

It was a really neat town. I wish I could’ve spent more time exploring, but hopefully another time.
Totally agree with you, there`s nothing to dislike about Italy.

Yep, one of my favorite countries in the world.
What’s not to like about Italy… um NOTHING. Nice shot.

Exactly! Thanks!
Isn’t Perugia home of the Amanda Knox circus? Sorry, I probably shouldn’t mention that here but it was the first thing I thought of. Beautiful town – shame that’s all I know about it.

HA! Yes, it is where the Amanda Knox stuff happened! It was a pretty city, I’d like to go back and see more one of these days.
