In 2009 my friend Amanda and I took an amazing trip to Antarctica. Seeing penguins was what I most anticipated, and I was so excited when we finally got there and saw hundreds of them waddling around. There are strict rules about how close you can get to a penguin, but if they approach you it’s fine. Sometimes we would just listen to them squawk and wait for them to walk up to us. They smell horrible, but they’re so cute, and seeing the penguins was one of my favorite travel moments ever.

What’s with you posting some of the cutest animals in the world that I have never huged? I wanna hug a Kangaroo & a Penguin. Great shot.

So so cute. I’ll never go to Antarctica but these penguins make it difficult to say that.

They’re really cute – penguins are iconic Antarctica. It’s not high on my list except for these adorable creatures.
