Scary Scuba Part 2

I went back to the dive shop for some one-on-one time with the dive instructor, feeling hopeful that I would do better this time around now that I knew what to expect. No panicking this time, and the breathing underwater stuff didn’t freak me out like it did last week, but that’s about it. I tried for about an hour and could not clear/pop my ears underwater. I could feel the pressure in my sinuses, and my ears started feeling uncomfortable. Not quite painful, but it was all enough to let me know scuba diving is just not in the cards for me. Maybe I’ll just go snorkeling in Australia, at least it’s cheaper! Thank you to everyone who was so encouraging this week, I really appreciate it!
